Hello there! I'm Miri, a Canadian software developer, currently residing in the vibrant landscape of South Africa. My journey into the world of software development has been exciting.

I started my career as a flight attendant, exploring the skies and serving passengers with a smile. However, my fascination with technology and the ever-evolving digital realm beckoned me to take a leap of faith. I decided to embark on a new adventure, one that would lead me into the fascinating world of coding.

My transformation into a software developer began when I was accepted into WeThinkCode_, a one-of-a-kind tech training academy where I started with no prior coding experience. The two-year program was a challenging yet rewarding experience, where I delved deep into the fundamentals of programming and software design patterns.

Upon graduating, I had the privilege of securing an internship at Platform45, a company I've proudly been a part of since 2018. It's here that I refined my skills, immersing myself in a wide range of projects that included technologies and languages like Webflow, Ruby on Rails, HTML, SASS, TailwindCSS, JavaScript, and React. My focus has always been on crafting captivating and user-friendly digital experiences, a mission I continue to pursue with unwavering passion.

Beyond my professional life, I'm a multi-talented individual. You can often find me on the karaoke site Smule, where I not only sing but also play the ukulele. Music is my refuge, and my taste spans from the nostalgia of nu-metal and Post-Hardcore/Metalcore to the soothing rhythms of Chillstep and Ambient House Music.

My love for the natural world also extends to indoor plants, which grace my living space with their vibrant presence.
